I ordered pancakes, not rockcakes.
Ive ordered these 3 times in the UK and each time has been a thorough disappointment. The pancakes despite only a 10min journey arrive 1/2 hard as rock and the other 1/2 is like chewing leather. Sad to say in restaurant wasn’t much better.
Used to eat these all the time in Australia and even with double the travel time between buying and eating there these would turn out better than the in restaurant ones in the UK. Its like they cook them hours if not days in advance and just reheat them in a microwave
